BRADLEY, IL November 12, 2009 – When the first Monical’s opened in Tolono, Illinois in 1959, no one knew what a Midwestern phenomenon it would become. Monical’s Pizza returned to its roots in Champaign County last Monday, celebrating its 50th anniversary with a blowout gala event at the Colonnades Club, located in the University of Illinois Memorial Stadium.
